What we do with what you send us.
This page covers one thing: the contact details you send us through this website. It is short because the website does little. Data inside our products is governed by a separate agreement, not by this page.
Who is responsible
Mono Solution AS is the controller for the personal data described here.
What we receive
The Contact and Book demo buttons on this site open a form. When you send it, we receive:
- your name and email address, which the form requires
- your phone number and company, if you choose to give them
- whatever you write in the message, and which button you came from
The form is delivered to us as an email. It is not stored in a database, and the website keeps no record of it after it has been sent. We do not ask for more than the fields above, and you do not need to give us more than that.
Why, and on what basis
We use it to answer you and, where that is what you asked for, to arrange a demonstration. Nothing else. We do not add you to a marketing list, we do not sell the data, and we do not share it with anyone who is not helping us run our email.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us, under GDPR article 6(1)(f). Where the exchange is about a possible agreement between us, the processing is also necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, under article 6(1)(b).
How long we keep it
We keep the correspondence for as long as it takes to deal with your enquiry, and for up to twelve months after our last exchange. Then it is deleted. If we end up working together, the correspondence is kept for as long as the customer relationship requires.
You can ask us to delete it sooner. Write to the address above and we will.
Who else touches it
The website and the function that forwards the form run on Microsoft Azure. Our email is operated by Microsoft 365. Microsoft processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. No one else has access to it.
The website itself
This site has no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising. It sets no cookies. If you switch between dark and light mode, or between Norwegian and English, that choice is stored in your own browser and is never sent to us. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, including IP addresses, to operate the site and protect it from abuse.
Our products are covered separately
MONO Project is in closed pilot. Customers who are given access sign a separate agreement covering the documents and data the product processes on their behalf, before any access is granted. That agreement governs what happens inside the product. This page does not.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, and ask for a copy in a portable form. Write to the address above and we will answer.
If you think we are handling your data wrongly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet. We would rather you told us first, so we can fix it.
